COMMUNITY: Okanagan Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada and the globe are sincerely an institution. The support and roots they've integrated into the Okanagan have been life-changing. Not really realizing the mass of programs and networks that goes along with the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club, we have been so astounded with the work being done and that it continues to do. By providing a safe place for kids back in 1959, the program quickly sprouted all over the Okanagan Valley and suddenly there was a very important resource born near and dear to us.

Okanagan Boys and Girls Club is active in Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, West Kelowna, Armstrong, Coldstream, Falkland, Vernon, OK Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, and Penticton. It's no surprise that its involvement in the community has reached more than 1,300 kids daily and more than 8,000 individuals in just the last year! This 60-year birthday for the organization sees its growth for programs from infants all the way to families in its 41 service locations across the Okanagan:
