ASK ME HOW I FEEL
Children are often less able than adults to express their feelings in words.
However, children are experts at expressing themselves through play. Help discover new feelings and emotions with your kiddos while supporting their mental health! Not only are these animals showing off some helpful expressions your child can relate to, but their colours also match up with the zone of regulation they're trying to express. Blue relates to feelings of sadness, hurt, or upset ... It can also be an indication of tiredness. Whereas green means GO! Green is associated with happiness, contentment, feeling proud or excited. Yellow is like a caution sign, we're approaching silliness, feeling anxious, nervous, surprised and/or confused. Red is associated with anger, frustration maybe even yelling and aggression. We want to support having these feelings, there is no positive or negative, simply how we move forward! Included in every order will be a summarized postcard with more information on how to engage with your child's feelings and help support them forward curated by Child and Family Counsellor and owner of Springfield Kids Play Therapy, Vicky Wallace. When you purchase this tee, you support the importance of ending the stigma around mental health and keeping the conversation going no matter the age.
